Welcome to The Community Congregational Church United Church of Christ of Chula Vista, CA.

We are a joy filled, friendly, congregation of faith! We welcome you to come and experience Christ’s love through worship, service, prayer, and fellowship. We are the oldest congregation in Chula Vista and yet our way of thinking and serving is not outdated! We are a member church of the United Church of Christ one of the oldest and yet newest main-line, Protestant denominations.  Our congregation is very diverse in age, ethnicity, race and gender. There are people who have been followers of Christ all of their lives and others who are new to the Christian faith. We are fellow pilgrims on a journey, walking, serving, with one another! Green Justice Congregation

Consistent with the UCC’s historical commitment to environmental justice, and to serve as more effective stewards of God’s creation, the Community Congregational Church of Chula Vista seeks to become an environmentally sensitive congregation. The Church seeks to reduce, reuse, recycle and use biodegradable products whenever possible, as part of our care for God’s creation.  Non renewable resources, such as styrofoam coffee cups, will be used only when necessary. Groups that utilize Church space will be encouraged to observe this policy, and to utilize Church recycling bins whenever possible.
